Jordan grabbed a microphone on the basketball court for a question-and-answer period Monday during a Flight School camp in the Bay Area. He used that time to answer questions about wide-ranging topics. But one question in particular prompted Jordan to respond.
Jordan, who’s won six NBA championships and has been named the MVP five times, called LaVar’s claim that he could beat him ridiculous.
“You got to understand the source,” Jordan said. “I think he played college, maybe? He averaged 2.2 points a game. Really?”
The former University of North Carolina star wasn’t done criticizing LaVar, who’s the father of UCLA star and Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.
“It doesn’t deserve a response, but I’m going to give it to you because you asked the question,” Jordan said. “I don’t think he could beat me nba2k20 mt I was one-legged.”
