The Burning Crusade and performed dedication

  • You will find dozens upon dozens of nights in which I, as a young unemployed person, stayed up before the sun rose while playing World of Warcraft. I jumped to the game during The Burning Crusade and performed dedication to buy gold classic wow until a point during Wrath of Lich King. Something about the game for'd shifted I dropped, or maybe something about me had changed, and it fit into my own life. I left World of Warcraft behind, ready never to return. Many years later, Blizzard announced World of Warcraft Classic.

I missed vanilla WoW in the moment, as I said, but this guarantee of revisiting the match in a form which is closer to what I remember it being was incredibly enticing, and as the launching of WoW Classic came closer, I became desperate to play it. Eventually, I relented, and I started playing World of Warcraft again, from flat one, without a heirlooms, no experience boosts, nothing but a simple character and a huge world to explore.

After logged in, you found hundreds upon hundreds of people running around, all performing the very same quests as you, and taking up all the mobs you want to kill. For approximately a week, leveling was tough. The news stories of people queueing up for dinosaurs so that they could advance were quite real, though, in most WoW servers, it was each man for themself.

I quested in a few places and even branched out I would typically avoid. What I discovered is cheap fast wow classic gold that WoW still manages to receive its hooks in you.

Back in the afternoon, you would need to wait until level 40 until you could ride quickly on a mount, and it's easy to forget how long it takes to run across the map from area to area, quest mark to pursuit marker. Heck, even running within Stormwind takes time when NPCs are currently sending you between them. And I'd play, for hours, repeating tasks, bidding on equipment in the auction house, upgrading my abilities, traveling. It manages to feel fresh, somehow, all these years afterwards. And that I certainly enjoyed it, in between all of the tedium.
