How to make easy a Papier Mache Side Table

Oakley Goggles Sale, Just a consideration. I'm actually thinking of borrowing elements of this awesome design for a shelf project I've wanted to remodel. It's a cheap melamine topped particalboard shelf kit that got heat damaged by the in laws, So that the pretty white were left with horrible brown yellow spots in random places. I wish to repurpose it as a shelf for my coffee"Content" (I had a K cup and it not too died, But I still have stuff like those Vietnamese style stainless coffee/espresso strainers, Definitely coffee boxes/tins, Etc etc so just a spot to put all the clutter, Especially as I'm likely to get an alternative coffeepot later.). I loved the ideas about the painted troubled look, And also also the gold paint on it. So I'm still not sure how I will do all of it, But I really appreciate your time in offering this instructable, I hope will still be working well for you all this time later!
Oh yea! These are the gold paint. 'd the gold foil type stuff work too, Do you consider, With maybe sort of spoon or boning tool to mash into the surface in random edges? I bought some in the past for some other project(I can't even remember what it was I analyzed doing with it, The right way to that long ago.). Duuuh,

The structure took a period of time(And I was taking photos to write-up it, So the majority of less). Then papier mache takes an hour to do(But spaced this over a length to allow for drying etc). I simply applied one layer of papier mache and it certainly tones up the cardboard(Use more if you absolutely must have a stronger finish). I experience the table next to my bed, So I'm not pushing it for potency(But I did place 20lbs on it to test for strength and it coped remarkably). Painting takes in the event that the paint takes to dry. Hope you find a bit of time to make one.
