That appears crazy overboard, HOWEVER I likely would have done exactly a similar thing if I had thousands of dollars to spend on a party. I knew my son wouldn definitely important his 1st birthday, But I wanted to take pictures so that future him knows how much we loved him and wanted to celebrate his first big day. We spent as much as we meet the expense of on his party. Baby 2 is in route now, And we will most likely not do the same for her. However in this case the baby has older siblings who clearly had a blast. It was truly a family affair where everyone directly took part and enjoyed it.
