Global cycling agency strips Lance Armstrong of all Tour de France titles
Could things get any worse for Lance Armstrong? The once seventime Tour de France winner is now the zerotime Tour de France winner. On Monday, he was stripped of his titles by the International Cycling Union (UCI) and banned for life. and global agencies. AntiDoping Agency banned Armstrong from the sport for life over alleged use of PEDs. The USADA issued a 200page report on Oct. 10 after what was said to be an extensive, wideranging investigation into the issue.
The USADA said its investigators collected 1,000 pages of evidence regarding Armstrong and PED use. Included were interviews with 26 people with direct knowledge of his alleged doping,

Pat McQuaid, the president of the UCI,

Last week, Armstrong announced his resignation as the chairman of his anticancer foundation, LiveStrong. It was believed that he left the foundation so as to remove any distraction from the charity's people and work, although he remains on the board.
