Tuwai is a meta-mimetic Temtem Pansun -- a set of Temtem that just evolve under certain conditions. Tuwai will only evolve after finishing the Crystal Hunt sidequest in the Crystal Shrine, which you may only access into Tuvine. This sidequest is not a simple feat, as you need to use an Temtem squad against a selection of Tamers that have type advantages against you personally. They between levels 33 and 44, and thus don't expect to acquire Tuvine until later in the match.
It takes half damage from other Wind-type Temtem. Tuwai stats are rather average, however, it can be a strong Wind-type to use on. It can also have the attribute Spoilsport, which boosts the ability of practices. After evolved into Tuvine, the Crystal-type is gained by it. This makes it strong against Mental, Toxic, and Earth-type Temtem, but weak to Fire and Melee-types. Tuvine is weak to Electric on account of the typing that is combined.
An is also gained by tuvine -- better than any other Temtem from the game. This makes Tuvine an physical wall that can hit back with a few powerful Crystal and Wind-type techniques.
Tuvine can do well with a faster support Temtem that can boost its buy Temtem Pansun lackluster Attack and Special Attack power and turn it into a true threat. So far, Tuvine is the sole known evolution of Tuwai, but as Temtem remains under development, more evolutions may be inserted in the future. You might want to keep your Tuwai un-evolved for if new evolutions do arrive, or locate a Tuwai.
