Many individuals have voiced their admiration with how problems are handled in a timely friendly manner. The Live Chat and also the GM's who help with the Maplestory Mesos tickets move out of their way to help fix issues, and answer questions, and help players. Well, I'm not happy. And I'm not the sort of guy who bashes on maplestory without a reason.
Since Colour came out, I haven't been able to make any new ghost character. Between the Beast Tamer and Shade launch, they ended up changing the personality name filter to never let "ghost". I have sent in a ticket, I've spoke to GMs, I've achieved into the MLC about it, but nothing has been done about it for the past year. It's frustrating because even a mediocre programmer could correct this matter. It is not that is something hard to accomplish, it is that there is somebody at the company that's saying no to resolve this.
I understand customer support does not make all the decisions, but I wonder whether they are actually passing down exactly what the gamers want in person tickets such as these. Customer support may not be the one to blame, but my rage is blinding me to some stage where I can not be happy with any component of Nexon.
P.S. To give more insight because I begin playing maple almost 9 years ago, I have always created a personality with it suffix as "ghost", and I've made a lot of characters since I started. For Nexon to filter out the name makes me feel as though I have been prohibited to make any new characters. And in a sense I am letting that occur by refusing to create anymore new characters before that is fixed. So this isn't only a "it'd be nice if Nexon did so" petition to me, it's something that means a lot for me. I would love buy Maple M Mesos to earn a Shade and also a Kinesis this winter (not to overlook all the NX I'd spend should I be able to earn those characters).
Witch Malady's conversation is long and dull. Items can only be purchased one by one, and can only be cooked one by one. Cooking one thing means moving through 5 or 6 dialogue boxes (and choosing an option in each, which means that you can't even junk the NPC Chat key). And you have to cook up a dozen intermediate items before you can produce a single Stew, which is pretty much the only one of Malady's concoctions that's still useful.
The process is long and it is painful and it provides an advantage to individuals who are willing to violate the rules and macro the procedure in their computer keyboards or controllers.
