Eid ul Adha is the second religious event of Islam after Eid ul Fitar. It is celebrated with utmost Islamic fervor to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) and his (A.S) willingness to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail (A.S) on the divine way of Allah (SAW).
The well-off Muslims over the world honor the sacred intention of Ibrahim by sacrificing an animal in the way of Allah (SAW).
This event is celebrated on 10th Dhul Hajj of Islamic calendar in which sacrifice is performed. In Islam the animal sacrifice can be performed from 10th to 13th Dhul Hajj. `
