Caim após ter cometido o primeiro homicídio, "retirou—s da presença do Senhor"; esta é a tendência de quem vive na prática do pecado; separa-se de Deus, pois o pecado é uma barreira que se ergueu no Édem, para separar o homem da comunhão com Deus (Is 59:2 ) Só o sangue de Cristo pode destruir a barreira existente no coração do pecador._(2Co.5.19. Nessa separação, Caim distanciou-se do lar paterno e foi para Node (hb. “exílio”,que ficava localizado ao oriente do Édem .
Caim deu início à 1ª civilização; porém a dúvida é esta, Quem é a Genitora dessa geração.
A Bíblia nos dá uma resposta indireta quando diz que Eva é a mãe de todos os seres humanos (Gn 3:20), consequentemente a esposa de Caim era uma de suas irmãs.
A Bíblia diz que Adão viveu, 930 anos nesta super vivência ele teve filhos e filhas (Gn 5:4);
E segundo a tradição judaica, Adão e Eva tiveram 60 filhos, sendo 33 homens e 27 mulheres.
No princípio da civilização humana; irmãos e irmãs se casavam naturalmente, não havia outra maneira de multiplicar a raça humananão obstante, esta prática foi proibida 2500 anos mais tarde (Lv.18:6), e para o povo hebreu desde então cessou-se o casamento com irmãos consangüíneos, entretanto esta prática de uniões ilícitas era,comum a outros povos (Lv 18:24).
Não escondemos a possibilidade de Caim ter se casado com , uma de suas sobrinhas, contudo achamos mais convincente que seja uma de suas irmãs.
