It's funny how life has a way of letting you know if your on the right path. There was a time when Mindvalley’s Everyday Bliss not only did I not have all the answers, I did not even know there was a question. I accepted all anyone had to offer, whether it be bad or good. There were very few times I actually stopped and questioned whether a decision was good or bad. The outcome was of little consequence. My perceptions of life were constantly clouded by an assortment of reality altering tools.
If the decision was between reality and illusion, I would pick the illusion every time. If I could find a drug that would help me keep my illusions intact, there was no decision to made. On the day I decided my book was in fact, very judgmental and bordering on condescending, I was not upset. I was relieved that I had made the discovery before someone offered me a book deal.
There is a huge difference between offering someone the ability to recognize they can wake up to reality, and telling them that your way is the only way. By being under the preconceived notion that I had the right to tell anyone else how to live their life, I was going against everything I had already learned. It was just another layer that had to be identified. As I become an observer of my life, I can see everything I do from a different angle. By observing my actions and reactions I get a very clear picture of who I am and who I strive to be.
