Phantom's are the jack-of-all-trades course for people who demand variety in their strikes. Want to be a magic user? Steal I/L Archmage abilities. Wish more DPS? Swipe abilities from Bowmen. Looking for something a little more up close and personal? Hit up a warrior for a few of the blade swashbuckling abilities. Wish to play party Maplestory M Mesos? Go steal from Bishops. . (wait, that came out wrong. .)
Speaking of that, It would be sacrilegious when I did not say Bishops. The clergyman magic branch is not a OHKO class by way, but rather it is better suited to the thinking person as opposed to a hack & slash button masher. Rather than relying on pure harm output, Bishops focus on total battle management, damage mitigation, reading opponents attacks, and preparing counter defenses required for their team's survival. The Exp+ buff with self hyper passives are also a great little perk of the trade.

Overall, I'd say I'm happy with what's changed so far. But, there are still a couple things bottle necking that the PaytoWin aspect that is still left over.
Shield/Safety/Clean Slate scrolls. We need more choices to save and/or recover slots when buy Maplestory M Mesos searching our gear. I am am very grateful for the 2 we receive per month in the reward shop, but realistically it's not enough when we have 100s of slots to scroll. At the moment, bots appear to conduct a monopoly on clean slates in game and offer them to get 30m Maplestory M mesos a piece. I would love to find that the limit in the reward store upped to 5 or so a month, or possess clean slates drop a great deal more often (perhaps from zak, hilla, etc) to get down them to 5-10m a piece.
