Ferrari LaFerrari at Geneva 2013 Motor Show. The rumours were wrong! It's not called the F70 or F150; is doesn't matter much because the new Ferrari LaFerrari is a show stopper.
Ferrari has unveiled its much teased and anticipated Enzo successor called LaFerrrari. In short; it's EPIC. Based around an all carbon fibre tub, the coach work is as jaw dropingly outlandish as it is purposeful. Under it snugly sits the world's most powerful naturally aspirated V12 engine -- all 6.3-litres of it -- combined with a HYKers unit they produce a mighty 950bhp.
It hits the bench mark 60mph from rest in 'under 3 seconds' but the numbers we are scratching our heads at it are; 0-124mph in 6.5 seconds and 0-186 in 15.5 seconds. That last number also puts its 1.5 seconds faster to 186mph than the 17 seconds McLaren claims its P1 will do...
Ten years after the mighty Enzo helped coin the phrase 'hypercar', LaFerrari (apparently Maranello intends for its new flagship to be known as 'the Ferrari') will soon be doing battle with McLaren's P1, Pagani's Huayra and Porsche's 918 Spyder. It's a fight we intend to be ringside for.
