Peugeot Onyx
Paris 2012 sees Peugeot take on the Supercar gentry with the Onyx Concept - a car that's so out of place in Peugeot's range you can't ever expect it to be built.
Let's go through the vital statistics, shall we? 1100kgs, 600bhp, KERS, lightweight acrylic windows (oh yeah...) and a 3.7-litre FAP V8 derived from Peugeot's Le Mans tech. Nice.
More interesting, though, is the Onyx Concept's bodywork... Its exterior is made of carbon fibre and hand beaten copper. The designers say the Copper will add tithe car's overall design over time as it will oxidise and give the car an individual pattern.
Its interior is a single-piece pod and the dash is made of wood created from recycled newspapers. That's pretty cool.
