Hey everyone, this week let's make sure that your 2014 New Year's Resolution is something you conquer this year. Many, many people make the resolution to be "fit and healthy" every year, yet most people never even reach that goal or have a clear picture in their mind of what that goal really means to them. This week I have 3 simple tips that will help you make and reach your resolution this year.
1. Keep it small:
Choose something that is not so far out of reach that you get unmotivated after the first couple weeks. Don't set a goal for running a marathon, when you haven't even ran a mile.
2. Be specific:
2 people can have the same resolution, but the specifics of how they will execute it into their lives is what makes the resolution personal. Pick something specific and create the scenario in your mind of how you could and will achieve your goal.
3. Keep a progress journal:
Write down feelings, ways of coping with difficulties and different ways you have enjoyed reaching your goal. This is great to look back on and track how many improvements you really have been making along the way.
