Is 2k play now fun to play? Yes. Is it a fantastic basketball simulator? No. Is madden enjoyable to perform with? Yes. Is it a football simulator? No, but its passable. Madden for all its defects does accomplish being exactly what it sets out to be, a football simulator that is passable. Place it on the highest difficulty and you cant throw into double coverage, you can not plow through the whole group on the blitz to pick up 8 metres onto an HB draw. It plays constant. Does this paste and copy large portions of the game from 1 game to the next till its pale shadow of itself? Yes.
Last year was my first year of attempting Madden multiplayer, and not long after getting into it a glitch happened using a tackle cartoon. There was one particular tackle where the player being handled would still sort of stumble 3-4 yards after being hit before falling to the ground. After a patch that is certain this animation would play with nonstop. Stopped someone a lawn short? The player would stumble and get a first down. If the guy was clotheslined by me from the front didn't matter. Fall forward. Top that with everybody and they're mother just using the exact same 4'glitchy' (fuckin hate that phrase ) plays that they saw on youtube and it wasn't enjoyable. I will maintain the concept that playing and doing team that way is enjoyable. But hell online was a dreadful experience.
I'm not saying Madden is totally unenjoyable, but Madden is much more rage-inducing and frustrating than really fun. Now granted, I do not play Madden, so I don't understand how bad they have it, but 2K has caused me to nearly split my control on far too many occasions for me to cheap Madden nfl 20 coins praise it. There is far, far, far too many scripted sequences, oversights, and greedy tactics in the more recent games for me to compliment it as far as I probably should.
