I mean, can't you say the exact same thing about present and RS gold Ironman cosmetics being unfair? Like it's unfair to try and get 3rd Age in an Ironman since it's soo rare yet mains may just trade it. We do not know the reward arrangement will operate yet; this is in a site. From what Kieren said, the focus is competitive and the rewards will be reason for all. If this is the case, then Ironmen should have the ability to earn points for hte rewards without having to nolife grind it like you suggested. You may be unable to afford all the probable cosmetics, at least at the first tournament, but you still can get them.
I simply can not agree that we should not add cosmetics since it may be hard for ironmen to get. At the end of the daythey are just cosmetics... They won't be valuable to RuneScapemode whatsoever and there is no reason that an ironman should feel compelled to collect every single item. If you would like to perform as collectionist, completionistsuch that is for you personally and you have accepted it's darn near impossible, so adding a little more near hopeless will not change that much.
Is between rare/nearly impossible and really impossible. If it's rare, there is always someone who'll go for it because they are mad, but when it is impossible what's the point in even participating? I agree on the"we shouldn't say no just because it's hard for ironmen" but I'm talking about when it's impossible for ironmen. This kind of circumvents the point because RuneScape mode was created so which you can make every item yourself. It would be odd to have things that you cannot obtain via any means (regardless of how rare) if you didn't do something to get a month some time 3 years ago or anything. AFAIK there's nothing like that in OSRS.
I can get any moment to 3rd era from the death of OSRS and OSRS Gold For Sale a hint between now. But I'll never have the ability to acquire a decorative from this shop if I don't take part in a specific tournament. I do not really like that. I would be fine with a slow, grindy approach to get it. Just not one-time uniques that become unobtainable on a DIY account.
