Ok the other day me and my friend knight nine (you may know him Khorne on sals) went rev hunting... my stats are 50 assault 66 str 60 hp 40 def 31 pray and 72 mage along with 66 cb, his stats were 60 assault 60 str 40 def 17 beg 65 cb. Our equippment was... Me: coif, rune chain, rune kite, de hide vambs de hide legs and str ammy. Rune scimmy as wep. Rune scimmy as wep... and b axe when he got low in wellness.
At first we fought a level 75 rev, which assaulted me most of this time... it took up about half of my food and couldnt hit me with magic cuz my high mage lvl. . So that worked out for the best. Next we fought a lvl 60 goblin... we destroyed it pretty simple and quick. Then we decided to stop and proceed mining nearby edgville... While there got assaulted by a lvl 63 or something rev that nearly killed me on my way out the crazy. Khorne was at bank at the time he obtained complete food and proceeded to strike it while I get meals. We made a decision to pj it because it was a non traditional. Continuosly we changed attacking it and once I ran out of food, I'd bank while he fought visa versa... This lasted until we wasted about 4 loads of food each on precisely the same rev!
Therefore my question is.... How come we could own lvl 75 revs and lvl 60s revs on just 1 load of food each while we couldnt kill a lvl 63 with 4 heaps of food?? It was ridicoulous that the rev didnt stop recovery... I even used attack and str beg to attempt to kill him but to no avail... eventually we gave up and ran off but are revs suppose to be so powerful? I mean they're unlike any other creature I have battled... they even freeze you and farcast... PLZ GIVE TIPS ON HOW TO KILL THESE THINGS IF POSSIBLE... and I find rev hunting a challenge thats y I do it.... But never expected them to be so good.
OK, I have most of my things stolen so I have sold the rest and I have 2.6mil. I am looking to get some new armour along with a whip and I am requesting your opinion on what I should buy. I really don't want barrows since I do not need to have it repaired every few hours. Here are my stats: I was thinking of this: -Rune plate and thighs, -Berserke, -Obby cape and protect, -Rune boots, -Whip. This will be approximately 2.3mil but my max to invest is 3mil because I could devote somewhat more so that I had been considering getting something besides a rune plate and thighs. Perhaps a dragon skirt? I don't know what I should purchase for OSRS buy gold the plate however.
