Interesting is an opinion

  • You don't utilize battle to OSRS gold kill Todt/Zalcano. They can hurt you, which I figure is similar to them being in battle with you, but I would say that is a part of what makes it a boss. Right, and I am wondering why do we need that for non battle skills? Why does everything need to have a boss? Big game hunter is a great example of what a skilling boss might be in my opinion.

Because a game with 28 skills should also have tough and fulfilling end game material for players who aren't into PvM. Why do you think that it's a bad thing for the other 2/3 of this game to have endgame content? Completely agree. I really like PvM and'm a PvM'er at heart and even I am saying enough is enough. I also enjoy skilling and would love some group mini games or even non combat activities that I can also do that are not focused around attacking something or using the slayer task system. The sport isn't well rounded whatsoever and I'm not even sure the mods know how to make anything without the word"boss" inside at this stage.

Neither are a bastion of game layout, just really worth doing. It is more fun than conventional skill training and adequate gp together with the trade-off of being somewhat bad EHP. Zalcano is not really good xp or fun. It is just really excellent gp. Boss battle is the exact same every single time.

Interesting is an opinion. Along with the exp is actually not terrible for mining. It's going level your mining over time for sure. It's a hell of a lot more enjoyable than any other way to train firemaking or mining. I'd consider BGH a skilling boss, but the point still stands. BGH is the closest thing we currently have to skilling bossing.

I would notice that the community has had a great deal of apprehension towards skilling supervisors / hard skilling in the past, and even still now. I'm not sure why they stated that in years past but it wouldn't leave me amazed if it was due to them trying to square a skilling boss with the community's expectations for skilling. A good deal of folks have complained that skilling should not have costly upgrades, should not have a mechanical ability variable, etc..

They've pretty clearly moved beyond that today though, they have made many a complex bit of skilling now including an inarguable illustration of a skilling boss. Now it's really just a matter of filling in the blanks and hopefully innovating some fantastic shit along the way.

We've just announced a Structure Contracts-like update and a combat boss on stream, amongst others. Hopefully that goes a way to tackle it. To be entirely fair here. You have declared a construction rework aswell years back, even revealed some WiP. A couple of years later, we saw a few gamejam construction stuff that seemed promising, which also expired. Why would we believe you the 3rd time around? I'd really like to see construction getting some love, but it REALLY feels devs are afraid of touching the skill due to buy RuneScape gold spaghetti and a potential.
