Again and again we are told x update will be arriving at y time, and more often than not we're left in the dark concerning the progress and things get delayed more frequently than published on-time. If jagex is gonna provide a timeframe for an update the least they could do is keep us updated about the improvement and not just leave us in the dark until the last minute.
When the amount of updates started to drop Jagex began doing updates to produce things such as bottle quest creation much easier claiming it would let them release more quests again. That didn't happen because the problem is Jagex, not the difficulty of developing content.
