I was wcing yews as RuneScape gold I always do when I'm tired and I had been browsing the forums here. I was talking to my mate about how I believe FOR ME that the rune hatchet is faster compared to the dragon hatchet. While I've wasted countless moar hours compared to him testing and timing a dragon hatchet above a rune hatchet when cutting yews. I have come to the point they are either precisely the exact same or that rune is slightly faster in my opinion, not to mention two mil cheaper.
He complained for ages telling me his waste of 2 mil (not that it is much) was a much better cutter than mine. So I simply said"lol fine budd you keep believing that". My friend and I kept cutting yews and he then popped the stupid statement of. "You are an idiot lol you don't even have any 99's ahhaahahah"
Which for the billionth time that I had to verbally own this sad nub and inform him his AWSUM achievement of 99 firemaking is really totally neglect, a waste of time and that he is actually only a noob. An untrimmed 99 fm cape is certainly the most pitiful excuse to use in an argument of"I'm better then you" in runescape. Everyone knows at 92 it is possible to get the Adze. Sure after 92, 99 is not that far away (sorta) so why not do it. But most of my mates who have gotten it takes weeks to perform, it's boring as hell and the only great thing is it is relatively inexpensive if you really do willows or maples. Just that you need upwards of someplace like 45k logs at around level 70 fm'ing. So anyhow I had a good time verbally assaulting this guy and crushing his fantasies. But frankly, aren't you people sick of seeing 99 fm'ers wander around in untrimmed capes in the THOUSANDS!So now I decided I actually wanted to get a massive project ingesting plenty of data to get averages on Resource Gathering Skills. I think I hurried myself and also posted a topic straight away on the RSOF requesting for specific parts of information, and then I realized that I do not even know if anyone would be willing to help me, that is exactly what I want as I can't cut countless logs, fish millions of fish, within the span of a couple of months.
So, I'm going to ask Sals initially, if you would be willing to document amounts of resources, times it took to get themand your levels while getting them for me. You wouldn't have to go out of your way to mine/cut/fish for certain things, because assuming enough men and women help out, we ought to get folks going in their day collecting enough data to complete charts.
