I'm one of Animal Crossing Bells these individuals. Got tired of the game about 150 hours. Just too much friction with the crafting system, an excessive amount of content must be trickled later in upgrades, and also much of the character of previous payments is gone. I liked the string for the simulation elements more than the personalization, and NH was certainly not made for players like me.
What do you believe to be cut content/missing past gyroids?
And 150 hours is -a lot. - I really don't mean to be an ass, it's just hard to fathom someone putting significantly more time in previous entries for reasons beyond it had been merely a fresher experience in the moment, or other conditions.
I also don't want to discount your preferences, but I simply can't personally observe the things that made previous entries magnitudes better.
Then that criticism also applies to the other games except maybe the original. Every time a new AC comes people look at the older game's villagers with rose tinted glasses. In addition, I feel like people are missing/ignoring the new dialogue added each month ingame and the simple fact that villagers will typically say something unique if you talk to them more than 2-3 times. It's not like old games did not have the difficulties of dialogue repeating villagers of the same kind feeling like the same person.
The situational dialog the first 2-3 times is definitely the worst part of talking to villagers and probably why folks think that they don't have any personality. The funny and interesting dialog being hidden behind it makes it so tedious sometimes. I don't care that somebody saw me burying money again yesterday, I want to hear about your wacky antics!
They are buy bells animal crossing new horizons also all a bit too sweet, which looks kind of bland and generic. But honestly I have never been randomly told off by one of my friends/neighbors IRL so it is sensible in a way. A little sass wouldn't hurt, though.
