    • Select a firmware version.
    • Click on Download.
    • Unzip the file (if needed).
    • Open a web browser and enter mywifiext.
    • Netgear extender login page displays.
    • Enter the extender admin name and password.
    • The Status page displays.
    • Click on Firmware Update.
    • If the new version of firmware is available, click on Upload.

    Note: Once you click the Upload button, do not go online, turn off the extender, shut down the computer or the extender until it finishes restarting.
