General writing rules
All writing, no matter the subject or extension, must be a harmonious whole; with an understandable logic; with order, neatness and sense, for this it is necessary to take into account the following guidelines:
Think well about the proposed topic. If you do not know the topic you want to deal with, it is important to refer to it thoroughly. It is advisable to document yourself on the proposed topic, in order to take ownership of its content.
Draw up a plan or script. A well-organized plan is the basis for a good execution. It avoids contradictions, repetition of ideas, lack of logic, incoherence, etc. A previous plan allows us to deal with everything at the right moment; it helps to place the facts write my essay for me, to plot the action and to arrive at the outcome in a natural and harmonious way. Therefore, take into account the concordances, the correlation of time, the appropriate use of propositions, etc. Do not write very long paragraphs; if they are not well written, they give the impression of heaviness and lack of agility. Their construction requires some skill. Use short paragraphs, periods, short sentences.
Use words with precision. Avoid the use of barbarisms or vulgarisms in bad taste, which are synonyms of poor vocabulary. Do not use words or words with a very broad and ambiguous meaning (such as the word "thing"), which by its very breadth does not point to anything specific. Always prefer the concrete word, which designates objects and beings, to the abstract word. If, for writing purposes, it is necessary to resort to the use of synonyms, try to choose the most appropriate one.
Use punctuation correctly. Periods, commas, question marks or exclamation marks must be correctly placed; otherwise, they radically change the meaning of the sentence and make it difficult to understand it.
Make a draft first. No one, except a very skilled person, is capable of producing a perfect piece of writing on the first attempt. There is always some difficulty: a turn of phrase may be poorly constructed, or the adjective used may not be the most appropriate one, or a secondary idea may have been left unfinished, etc. Always make a draft and subject it to a thorough polishing job. Carefully review the form and content.
Deepen your reading and knowledge of the language. Read a lot, especially great writers; pay attention to their prose, analyze their way of expressing themselves, their art of composing a narration, a scene or a portrait, the construction of the dialogue; they are and will always be the best procedure to learn how to write. There must also be a progressive knowledge of the language and a greater mastery of vocabulary.
