When World of Warcraft originally launched way back in 2004, it drew in a massive number of players and TBC Classic Gold quickly grew to have millions of readers worldwide. Aside from the sheer scale of the game, a large force behind the achievement of this MMO was that the world where it was set.
Azeroth has existed since the first Warcraft: Orcs and Humans started in 1994 and the following Warcraft two games farther assembled on the narrative and lore. Warcraft 3 has been possibly the most popular of those early games and introduced us to many of the characters that goes on to play huge roles in World of Warcraft, including Sylvanas Windrunner, Jaina Proudmore, and Arthas Menethil, among many others.
So when World of Warcraft launched in 2004, all the lore, background, and places that had been laid out in the earlier Warcraft games have been brought to life in Blizzard's vast MMO. If you have just got a few hours a week to dedicate to an MMO, Classic might not be the game for you personally and you may be better off looking at modern Warcraft to fulfill this Azeroth-shaped hole.
Having said that, if you're not particularly worried about endgame content such as raiding or max-level dungeons and just want to explore Azeroth as it had been in 2006 then by all means, carry on. But if you want to enjoy everything that Classic offers, then you need to be prepared to devote a great deal of time not only levelling your personality but completing various Attunement quests and grinding standing to get some of those late-game instances.
World of Warcraft Classic doesn't have those quality-of-life improvements which you will be used to in modern Warcraft - or really many other current MMOs. For starters, the scaling of enemies is a whole lot less pliable and buy Burning Crusade Classic Gold you could end up becoming quickly overwhelmed it you simply take on over two enemies at once without preparation.
