Changing My Career Affiliation in NBA 2K22: How to Do It
For starters, there are four different affiliations that you can join in The City: the Beasts of the East, the North Side Knights, the South City Vipers, and the Western Wildcats. For more information on these affiliations, click here. Your initial MyCareer mode experience will automatically place you in one of the four groups.
You have the option to switch groups at any time if you are dissatisfied with the one in which you have been placed. The catch is that you will lose all of the progress you have made with your current affiliation if you choose to leave. This means that your Rep will be relegated to the Pro 1 level, so proceed with caution if you decide to switch.
Make your way to City Hall.
To switch affiliations, go to the City Hall of the faction that you wish to join and speak with the mayor. On your map, you'll see that they're all clearly labeled. Speak with the guards on duty and ask for an Affiliation Transfer Request option. The city halls should be staffed with two guards who look similar to the ones shown in the image below.
The game will transfer you to your new faction, and you will be able to roam around The City as a member of that faction, while also having access to their affiliation-themed courts.
