2. Click the Delivery Options tab and enter the Verizon SMTP mail server address (outgoing.verizon.net), check the "Requires Authentication" box and click Setup. This screen allows you to set delivery pauses and number of delivery connections.
3. Enter your Verizon account password and full Verizon email address in the box marked "Use SMTP Authentication for Outbound" Next, click OK to return to the Delivery Options tab.
4. To change the SMTP port from default 25, to 587, click the " Advanced button" at the bottom. You can also add a custom domain to the Advanced screen. Verizon's custom SMTP domain would be verizon.net. Click OK.
This is all there is.
* Click OK at the bottom to save your settings after you're done. These settings can be modified at any time.
