From a process standpoint, it must support the entire Hire-to-Retire process.
In order to qualify as a complete, world-class HRMS system, it must provide the following 10 capabilities:
1. A SAP HRMS software should allow HR specialists to design and develop organizational structures for an enterprise.
2. Ideally, it should offer the ability to process payroll for all types of employees, whether they are salaried, hourly, internal, or external, and be fully integrated with the financial system.
3. It must be possible to post job openings on the internet and through other media.
4. It should be able to interface with web-based HR portals, like dice, LinkedIn, mapertunity, or sapfans.
5. The system must enable monitoring of the recruitment pipeline (usually by integrating with ATS or Applicant Tracking Systems and integrating with 3rd party systems), including the ability to track:
Vacancies.
Potential candidates.
Status of candidates.
6. Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
7. Be integrated into the production management function so that you can not only model process capacity but also manpower requirements/consumption for each process.
8. Set up a self-service kiosk.
9. The system may be outsourced in part or in its entirety.
10. Mobilizing people for international work.
