The Diablo 2 servers came back up and running

  • While appearing on the latest Episode of Hot Ones, Post Malone was asked about his love for video games, and specifically in relation to music. In his response, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he was taking part in Elden Ring for himself with D2R Items.

Evans said that he hadn't had any idea, which led to Malone proposing the game. But, despite this suggestion, Post Malone explained that basically he has to turn the music off while performing Elden Ring because it stresses him out too much.

"I switch the music to the point of being completely silent [in Elden Ring] because it is insane. It's actually like choirs not of angels, [but of demons. They're going to f*** you to death.' You can't remain alive," Post Malone said of the game's soundtrack. "After fighting I'm shaking, so I'm required to go out and smoke , and I'm thinking"I'm going to have to relax.'"

You can watch the video in which Post Malone talking about Elden Ring right here:Even though Post Malone seems to have an affectionate and hateful relationship with the music from Elden Ring, he went to add that some the greatest music he has ever encountered comes from video games.

He specifically mentioned titles such as Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda and Mario Bros. as just three titles that he is a fan of. Although The Elden Ring score might be slightly too much for him to manage at times, it does sound like he doesn't shut off the game's soundtrack for too long.

What are your thoughts about the music in Elden Ring? Do you think like Post Malone that it only adds stress to boss fights? Square Enix says HD-2D Style is Expensive in recent years.

Square Enix's HD-2D-themed games have gotten a lot of positive reviews from players. Games like Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy have really captured the attention of retro enthusiasts in part due to their unique art style.

In a recent chat with 4Gamer (translated through Nintendo Everything), Triangle Strategy producer Tomoya Asano discussed the aesthetic of the graphics and how it's being used into future games for the company. When the interviewer expressed shock by the fact that more indie games hadn't taken on the same design, Asano revealed the reason: it's actually pretty expensive!

"It's important to note that it costs more than you think. It's a good match to the games that are coming from Square Enix. There's likely to be little to gain from companies that copy it," Asano told 4gamer.Fortunately this cost won't stop Square Enix from releasing more games in this manner.

The remake version of Live a Live is set for release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in July, as a remake of Dragon Quest III is currently developing with d2r items for sale. There are a number of other games that could benefit from the design, and it will be fascinating to see the next game Square Enix does with HD-2D next. Although the company has evidently invested in this design style, Asano went on to declare that there isn't a actual "definitive book," and it will remain evolving according to the game.
