James Maddison said after being left out of the England squad.

Maddison was named to England's preliminary roster, but was ultimately left out of the Euro 2024 squad.
England finalized their roster early on. Along with Maddison, Harry Maguire (Manchester United) and Jack Grealish (Manchester City) were left out.
It's a deep squad. In the end, Gareth Southgate had to make a choice.
“England manager Gareth Southgate has named his Euro 2024 squad early to avoid confusion for his players,” the BBC reported on June 8.
'I didn't want to keep players waiting, (the atmosphere in the squad) would have been a real mess,' Southgate told local media, 스포츠토토 adding, 'It wouldn't have been fair to the players we've released and it wouldn't have been fair to the players who are still waiting to be confirmed.
He added: “Now all the players will be able to focus. When you're building a team, you have to choose the players you think have the best chance of winning. There are a lot of players who have played a lot of matches and have a lot of tournament experience, but there are also a lot of players who are not able to do their job because of physical problems.
