Two boys, ages 7 and 11, are accused of trying to carjack and rob a woman outside of a Portland, Ore., church with a loaded weapon, according to reports Sunday.
Portland police said the juveniles approached Ami Garrett, 22, of southeast Portland on Saturday as she waited for her parents in the Freedom Foursquare

She told officers the younger boy encouraged the 11-year-old to “show her your piece,” the Portland Tribune said. He reportedly pulled up his shirt to convince the woman, but she still refused to give up her car.
The 11-year-old also demanded money and her phone, but Garrett ultimately drove off, the Tribune said.
She told NBC affiliate KGW-TV in Portland she didn’t think the gun was real until the boy showed her the bullets.
“They told me they were going to blow my brains out if I didn't give them something,” she said. “My heart was beating a million miles an hour. I definitely didn't think I was going to get out of there alive. I thought I was going to die.”
