Founded in 1949 by Basil Henry Pappin, Germistonvet.co.za began as a mixed animal practice in Lambton, South Africa. Over the years, it expanded with satellite practices in Primrose and Alberante, and eventually relocated to Dinwiddie in 1973. This relocation marked a significant turning point, as it became South Africa’s largest private veterinary hospital. Despite changes in staff and some key members retiring or emigrating, Germistonvet.co.za has remained a leading institution in the veterinary field, offering high-quality care to animals across a variety of specialties.
