I'm building a Ukulele (the first I'll ever own) and I don't know what strings go where.. My sister got me a DIY kit for Christmas and the strings weren't numbered or labeled or anything, so I don't know where the thickest string goes or where the thinnest goes. I normally play the guitar but I understand Ukulele strings don't go from thickest to thinnest, but if anyone could explain it to me like "string 1 is the thinnest..." Or something like that, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Madalena, as you are in need of a Uke beginner kit here and talks about how much this instrument makes you feel good about stuff. If you are a starter then obviously you need some guidance in choosing the best option that would work for you so i would recommend you to try out Lanikai LU-21 soprano as you will not find anything better than this one. This is a laminate wooden-made ukulele, but it’ll look exactly like the real one. It is all based on how hard you play, you might have to tune the strings most of the time. I got to know about it when I played the Lanikai LU-21 the intonations it is not the best option for the higher up on the fretboard. For someone who just started playing it wants to strum some chords, as this ukulele gets amazing reviews and you can’t go wrong if you choose it. It comes along in concert and tenor size as well.
