I have a cab mate who serves(he have a Best Lapidary Saw) as my lapidary saw by changing the grinding wheels for the saw blade - so, it becomes a slab (or trim) saw if you will. There are dedicated slab saws; however, they’re usually fairly large. A tile saw would work in a pinch, but I wouldn’t use a Drexel because of the water component (risk of electric shock).
