    Gaining holistic health and wellness should be among the top of everyone's priorities. This basically means that all elements are lined up with one another and that you possess complete health. The three components that dictate your state of health are the mind, body, and spirit. If one aspect is thrown out of balance, then illness or disease is likely to occur. The individual will become well again once balance has been restored with alternative therapies.

    In the Eastern world, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the spiritual health of a person. In China, this is referred to as the chi, and the Indians call it your prana. The theory of these practices is that there are several channels that flow through your body. If they are able to move uninhibited, then you are totally healthy. When one channel becomes blocked, it is believed that is the cause of sickness in a person. In order for holistic health and wellness to be restored, the blockage must be completely alleviated.
