General Insurance Features are commonly referred to as adhesion contracts. The insurer draws up the Features of the policy, and the insured has little or no power to amend it. If there is any uncertainty in any of the contract's terms, this suggests that the insurer bears the responsibility. Insurance contracts are the amounts exchanged between the insured and the insurer are unequal and contingent on unknown future circumstances. In contrast to typical non-insurance contracts, which usually are meant to be nearly equal by the parties, they are commutative.
