  Hello everybody! In this support discussion, we have received many queries from users regarding the Gmail not updating on iPhone which does not allow them to receive new emails from their contacts. So after a lot of research by our technical experts, we have found the IMAP Settings need to be changed to solve this problem:

  • Open your Gmail on the web browser (Safari or Chrome) and enter the correct credentials of your Gmail Account.
  • Now, you can see a Settings Gear button on the top right of Screen. You can see a category named "Forwarding and POP/IMAP". Simply click on it.
  • Then you can see the Disable IMAP and Enable IMAP options.
  • Select the Enable IMAP option & save out the settings.

  Now you will see that all the mails will be syncing easily with your IOS Device

  Thank you so much for sharing this information with me, i face facing this issue from so long, finally, i found the solution, & it really works. I would love to read more from you about iPhone, because i just shifted to IOS from android, so just having issues with them. I read an article about how to trust app on iphone, & literally it solves half of my problems, they guided me so well about this & now my phone is safe & clean from every virus app.
