There are many different races to choose from to create the ideal Death Knight. Draenei, Humans, Gnomes, and Dark Elves are the best choices for the Alliance. The Horde doesn't have many good options, but Trolls, Orcs, Undead, and Minotaurs work well. But comparing the two camps, the Alliance races are better suited to the Death Knight role.
