In terms of time spent on perimeter spraying, about 56 hours were saved to complete all chemical spraying plots to support the claim of drone spraying being more efficient. Drones like the DJI Agras T40 can be used to survey the field and collect data faster and more efficiently than traditional methods. With drones, farmers can see how healthy their crops are, where they need water and nutrients, and whether pests are active before they get out of control.
