The forms of statistics which can be saved within the database are known as 'entities'. These entities exist in four kinds: people, matters, events, and places. Everything you can need to put in a database suits into one of these categories. If the information you need to include does not in shape into these categories then it might be not an entity however a property of an entity, an attribute.
