A sheet metal cutting machine with a pipe cutting module is more economical in cost and is great for cutting pipes, especially if it is of an occasional nature.
If laser cutting pipes and profiles is your primary purpose for the machine, then a metal cutter with a rotary unit will need advanced functionality, with significant modification.
Some functions cannot be realized as with the pipe cutter (both the control program and design features will not allow).
