Sources claim that the Better Call Saul alum's dismissal from the eight-episode Ridley Scott production was caused by a disagreement with a co-star. Wagner Moura, a former Narcos actor, will now portray Mando in the newly recast role. Moura and Apple previously worked together, and she appeared in Shining Girls for the service. Sources claim that Mando, who played Nacho for the entire six-season run of Better Call Saul on AMC, was fired as a consequence of an incident that took place on the set. Micael Mando was decided to be fired from the show and the role was recast in an attempt to end the argument.
