When Magic Mike was released in 2012, few anticipated it would be the critical hit it was and become a franchise, but that is exactly what happened. The surprising smash trilogy appears to be coming to a close with Magic Mike's Final Dance, one of the big early new movies of 2023. Naturally, a Magic Mike movie wouldn't be complete without Channing Tatum returning to the starring position, but the story is also brought to a close by the presence of the original director Steven Soderbergh.
