Highland Park Whisky is a full-bodied, peaty whisky that’s matured in bourbon casks.
It’s made at Highland Park Distillery on Orkney Island and has been since 1894. This distillery was built by Magnus Eunson who wanted to create a whisky that could rival anything coming out of Scotland at the time.
He succeeded, as he also created one of the most popular single malt whiskies on the market today–and it’s not hard to see why!
The distillery was founded in 1798 and was the first distillery to be built on Orkney. Highland Park Whisky is a good example of a full-bodied, peaty whisky.
