You know what happened on the dedicated server

Today, that is no longer true. I played with a couple of For Honor games on PS4 and managed to notice the difference after completing a For Honor game with no hiccups. Everything ran smoothly, for the most part. Today I witnessed someone playing as Lawbringer vanish before my own eyes, which with P2P servers could indicate watching as the For Honor game stalled and wondering if I was about to be sent back to the stage select screen. You know what happened on the dedicated server? Nothing. The match replaced them with a bot and continued uninterrupted Buy FH Steel Credits.

Thus far, most For Honor gamers have shared similar positive experiences of their new servers on the match's subreddit. "By the Gods, this is much more agreeable," one wrote. "did not even notice players leaving and entering because there was no longer of that dreadful stop-starting, no longer horrible little lag jumps and belches: It was only a far smoother and complete plain superior experience." Many will also be appreciative that Ubisoft continues to upgrade and improve the For Honor game 12 months following its launch.

Participants have complained about the original online installment as far back as the beta, however Ubisoft maintained in the time that its preferred online infrastructure was perfectly adequate. Subsequently in July the publication reversed course and announced the For Honor game could get committed servers after all.

But dedicated servers have not fixed everything For Honor. Lag remains an issue. Ever since the elimination of time snapping, a term for the way the For Honor game used to attempt to synchronize actions between For Honor Items players at routine 100-millisecond periods, the sport has felt sped up, and folks with slower connections have been at a bigger disadvantage. If you ceased playing early last year and only recently returned to locate light attacks flying at you while your parries and blocks felt slowed, then that is why.

Ubisoft says it's working on addressing the problem, and noted that the committed servers can help it resolve the lag problem--it may use them to now collect real time player data that it may attempt to base a new system around.
