How do you keep your English vocabulary from slipping away?

Hey everyone, I’ve been studying English for years, but lately I feel like my vocabulary is starting to fade. You know that weird feeling when you know a word, but it just refuses to come to your mind when you need it? I used to write down new words in a notebook, but I rarely go back to review them. Flashcards didn’t work for me either – I get bored too fast. How do you guys keep your English vocabulary active and fresh? Maybe I just need a better system, but I don’t want something that feels like a chore.

I totally get that feeling! It’s like your brain just decides to “archive” certain words. I used to have the same problem until I found this little site that helped me gamify vocabulary learning https://vocabloo.com It’s not just about memorizing; it actually creates a kind of spaced repetition routine, and it somehow keeps you coming back because it feels like progress rather than homework. Plus, you can track what you’ve mastered and what still needs work. It’s helped me keep my vocabulary sharp, even when I don’t have much time to study.

That sounds perfect, actually! Thanks a lot — I’ll give it a try today. Maybe that’s the kind of motivation I’ve been missing!
