The Miami Dolphins have announced two roster moves on Wednesday. The team placed linebacker Chase Allen on injured reserve as he continues to deal with a foot injury that does not appear to be progressing. The Dolphins are hopeful that Allen will be able to return this year. He has appeared in five games

Smith originally made the team’s 53-man roster on September 1, but was released on September 3, when the Dolphins re-signed Young, who had been released the previous day when the team was awarded center Travis Swanson off waivers. Thus, this is the second time this season the Dolphins have released Young, then re-signed him a couple of days later and released Smith. Smith joined the Dolphins practice squad when it happened to him earlier in the season, now he comes straight back to the 53-man roster.Smith has played in fo
