Former Conservative Prime Minister John Major has said that the government must "be a leader" in creating policies for dealing with social problems in the United Kingdom.
Sir John said the value of social care was recognized during the coronary outbreak and the government needed to be involved in supporting the long-term future.
"I think it's the lowest price, and I don't think it's possible to underestimate it anymore," he told Radio 4 today.
He also said that "Bank deposit is necessary" Adding "It's really shocking that we have a food bank in 2020"
The former chancellor gave advice on raising money in the short term - while the British coronary attack was underway - but concluded that they would have to go up in the end.
"Over time, I think there is little doubt that taxes will increase," he said.
