Runescape has gone from a fantasy-themed chatroom

What it really amounted to when I looked at it, played it and saw what was entailed... was that ability was nothing more than a"ability" put into place in order to give all the obsessive/compulsives some thing to do after they had completed everything else to do under the RS sunlight. Can you say... degree 120 anybody?!? The fear at the time was the amount 120 was likely to become the new norm for many abilities but for those people who were sane and exercised common sense logic, we saw nothing more than the empty shell with a fantastic paint RS gold.

Let's face it... mindless clicking to level up some skills to 99 was already bad enough but if you wanted it all then that's exactly what you did. Besides gaining some items to show off like capes and the like... titles... yada-yada-yada... being around the top page of the hi-scores dining table... or on the respective skills tables meant you're"the top" and should be worshipped.

Or be highly thought of. Adults knew it was just hours of your real life spent in a match clicking away ad nauseam. Anyone recall Zezima worship? I sure as hell do and I hate that guy's name after all these years! I saw him in a bank ONE SINGLE TIME back around 2006 and it was pathetic! A little army of followers a fall-fall-following him everywhere. OMG times three!! Receive a life nooblets!

The purpose is that in many ways some of the abilities became worthless after you attained cheap OSRS gold a certain level though I shall concede Jagex made some kind of attempt to change that over the years with new content. The thought was to make them fun again or at least for there to be a point. Observation: a great deal of this content was pointless or downright dumb! Oops! So much for modification.
