As Birthday presents to yourself go, a 564bhp Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition isn't a disappointment.
Aston Martin is celebrating its 100th birthday at Geneva 2013 by showing, amongst others, its new Vanquish Centenary Edition. Just 100 of these jazzed-up Vanquish's will be made to showcase AM's craftsmanship expertise. Each car will get sterling silver badging and bespoke interior and exterior finishes. Apparently the new paint alone adds an extra 18 hours to the build. Each car comes with a unique presentation box containing two glass keys, two bespoke key pouches made from leather matching the car's interior trim, solid silver cufflinks featuring the Aston Martin script, solid silver Rollerball pen and high quality Bang & Olufsen headphones.
The Centenary Edition shares all its performance with the 'regular' Vanquish, meaning its 564bhp, 457lb ft V12 will help it cover the 0-60mph dash in 4.1 seconds and run on to a top speed of 183mph. All this pace thankfully comes wrapped up in that achingly pretty One-77 inspired carbon fibre coach work and all the James Bond kudos you could wish for.
