One can always count on the OWSLA crew to do things a little differently. This is what has differentiated Skrillex and his posse of noisemakers from the rest of the electronic pack, and it is the ethos that OWSLA brought to Amsterdam this past October when they performed a label showcase in a crane hovering, as Skrillex noted “a good amount of feet in the air.” Why? Who knows! But, how fun.
This five-hour set features appearances from Vindata, Wiwek, What So Not, and Skrillex, who kicks off his set with a most excellent mashup of Jack Ü’s “Take Ü There” and 50 Cent’s enduring “In the da Club” before firing up the hyphiest party to have perhaps ever happened on a crane hovering 75 feet above Amsterdam. The set ends with a b2b set featuring Skrillex and Noisia’s Thijs de Vlieger. Check it all out above.
